This one is primarily for Alex and Nick. It’s a recording of Medeski, Martin and Wood, with Trey Anastasio on guitar, performing “Crosstown Traffic“. I’m almost positive this came from a show at Emo’s in Austin, TX, on 10/14/95. Alex had given me a copy of the rest of this show (minus this song) some time ago; years before I had found a copy of this song on Napster or Kazaa. Only recently did I put the two together.
I’m preparing to move my computer desk in my office, so before I did I thought I would take a picture of my transparent monitor.
I just took the above picture five minutes ago, although I took the picture that you see on my PC desktop over a year ago. As a joke on Carla, I set it as the desktop image.
It’s a few minutes later now. I decided to see what it would look like to take a picture of my monitor with the above image as my desktop. Then I decided to repeat with the new picture, and then repeat with that picture. Here is the result.
I suppose if I had the time or the patience I could produce an infinite series, but I think I’ve sufficiently demonstrated my geekiness today.
