I just can’t brag about Carla enough – she made Donovan’s robot costume from scratch. She used disposable aluminum loaf pans for the feet, dryer tubing for the arms and legs, a spray-painted funnel for the hat, and she spray-painted a box and added all sorts of gadgetry for the body. My only contribution was to tape a bunch of glow sticks to the box. Donovan was so proud. We took him trick-or-treating to four or five houses and he proudly proclaimed he was a robot. We also carried Corinne with us, in her dinosaur costume, and she calmly took it all in – such a good girl.
