Boom-Boom January 27, 2006
Ella has an ever-expanding set of imaginary friends that slip in and out on a daily basis. The first and oldest is Boom-Boom, who’s been with us for at least a year, maybe longer. He often shows up in the car when we’re going places or when Ella is playing, especially if Truman isn’t around. He typically happens to be wearing the same thing as her and wants to do the same things.
Sometime late last year Grandma showed up. She has pink hair and a pink dog. She’s around occasionally, but not too often. Usually when Ella’s playing with her toys I think.
The newest friends are her monster friends that she likes to read to in her room – they are purple and pink. Not sure what their names are. We usually hear about them in the morning.
And then there are a host of other friends that pop in and out, usually friends of Boom-Boom. They all have names like Ah-ah and Ba-ba.
So far, Truman hasn’t had any – seems like he’s getting into that age when Ella’s first showed up but I don’t know if he’ll have some or not.
